This is a tribute to one of the all time greats. Brian ' Brum' Godsell, who passed away peacefully at home.

He was one of the best loved and finest Field Gunners, Friend and All Round Athletes that most of us will ever know.

Brian was a wonderful Husband and Father to Sue, Simon and Rebecca and a most loyal and honest man to his friends, of whom there are many. In his distinguished life, especially as a Field Gunner and Athlete, Brian was unsurpassed in his ability to achieve in not only his winning ways with sport, but with his fellow men in his various sports. As a friend, I know none better, and had some of the best times of my life.

I am sure all our hearts go out to Sue, Simon and Rebecca, and know he will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
