"John"
It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the passing of another of our comrades.
John Sessions passed away suddenly, whilst out jogging carrying a weighted Backpack, on Monday 4th June 2007
He ran for Pompey in 1985, and was currently a Fireman with the London Fire Brigade. He led a varied and colourful life, trying out various reserve forces after leaving the Royal Navy, including the Royal Marine Reserves. A fierce supporter of Field Gun, he would be seen supporting at many functions, especially down the Track, at Earls Court, and at the numerous Socials we've gathered at since.
He last visited Portsmouth for the Statue unveiling on 26th May 2007
His Funeral was held at 13:30hrs on Wednesday 20th June 2007 at:
St Georges Church, Harold Hill
Chippenham Road
ROMFORD,

On completion of the service John will be laid to rest in the local cemetery.
The wake will be held in the:
Pompadour public house
Hilldene Avenue
