Portsmouth Field Gun Memorial

Located at the Fleet HQ Building,
HMS Excellent,
Portsmouth

As you all know the Whale Island Memorial Gun was moved from this site and placed alongside the memorial Statue in Victory Arena.

In the Gun's place and at no cost to the Association a Field Gun Wheel has been set up in its place.

The work was carried out by Jake Adams, Phil the Painter, Field Gun friends and of course our very own Pete Ruddock who have yet again done an excellent job.

We could not find another Gun to replace the original as there are no spare guns that we could use!
