It is with great sadness to inform you all of the passing away of Jock Stewart

Jock "Russell" Stuart BEM (the Buffer) passed away Wednesday Evening 18th October at Warwick Royal Hospital.

Jock was attending a Reunion of HMS Alert at Lymington at the Weekend of 7th October when had a fall and was admitted to Hospital. His condition worsened over the next few days. His last days were spent in good company, his sister and many friends and ex Field Gunners visited him.

Funeral arrangements were made for Thursday 2nd November 2006, with the internment of his ashes the following day, in the Rose Garden, Whale Island.
